Mars at Truro Cathedral
13th October – 2nd November
This autumn, prepare for lift off as Luke Jerram’s spectacular touring artwork ‘Mars: War and Peace’ arrives at Truro Cathedral! You can experience Mars daily throughout its stay from Monday 13th October to Sunday 2nd November.
Ways to see Mars:
- Mars by Day: Visit the cathedral during its usual opening hours for Mars by Day (free entry, no booking required).
- Mars by Night: Experience the full atmosphere of Mars as it glows against the beautiful architecture of Truro Cathedral (under 11s go free – booking required).
- Celestial Heights Tours: Ascend the cathedral’s spiral staircase and roof space to view the artwork from a unique elevated perspective. (Booking required.)

Mars Trail at the Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery
11th October – 2nd November
Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery is celebrating the arrival of Mars at the cathedral with a unique half term trail that explores both Mars the planet and Mars the Roman god, and the connections between them.
Complete the trail to win a prize, and get hands on with creative crafting activities for all ages inspired by the Red Planet.
