Event information:
St Piran’s Day falls on 5th March each year. Truro’s parade is a celebration of Cornwall’s patron saint, and of the values for which he stands – caring, creativity, living within our environment, respect, inclusion and peace.
Due to the Wales & West Utilities Gas Pipe upgrade work, the Parade will set off from Lemon Quay at 13.00, heading through the city centre and ending at High Cross, with brief speeches and the Cornish anthem, Trelawny. All are welcome to take part in the Parade.
The City of Truro Steam Roller will also be present on Lemon Quay all day for viewing!
Truro Farmers Market will mark the occasion with their St Piran’s Market, which will take place on Lemon Quay between 09.00 and 16.00 on Wednesday 5th March.
