Our Great Little Kids Club: Denzel’s Hedgehog Trail

Looking for free family activities in Truro this summer? The much-loved Denzel’s Hedgehog Trail returns to the city from Saturday 25 July to Monday 31 August 2026, offering a fun and interactive adventure for children and families as part of Our Great Little Kids Club.

Denzel, Truro’s famous hedgehog from Trafalgar Roundabout, has hidden himself throughout the city centre. Follow the trail and discover wooden hedgehogs in shop displays and popular visitor attractions across Truro.

To take part, collect a free activity pack from either Truro Community Library or the Visit Truro Visitor Information Centre on Boscawen Street. Inside, you’ll find a trail map to guide you around the city. At each location, look for a wooden hedgehog displaying a letter. Find them all to reveal the hidden phrase.

Once you’ve completed the trail, return your entry form to the Library or Visitor Information Centre to receive an “I Love Denzel” sticker and be entered into the prize draw.

Perfect for families visiting Cornwall during the summer holidays, Denzel’s Hedgehog Trail is one of the most popular free children’s activities in Truro, encouraging young explorers to discover the city while enjoying a fun outdoor challenge.
