Programme to include music by George Gershwin, Maurice Ravel and Francis Poulenc
London-based saxophonist and artist Rob Burton was named one of Classic FM’s ‘Rising Stars 2024; 30 and under 30.’Â Since being a BBC Young Musician 2018 Grand Finalist, he has performed as a soloist with leading UK orchestras, including Britten Sinfonia, CBSO, and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and at prestigious festivals such as Festspiele Mecklenberg-Vorpommern, Cheltenham and Harrogate.
Mark Rogers is an American pianist specialising in vocal and chamber music, regularly performing across the UK and Europe. A Young Artist at major song festivals including Leeds Lieder and the International Lied Festival Zeist, he has collaborated with leading artists such as Christian Gerhaher and Felicity Lott. He is also a prize winner at international competitions, including the Concours Nadia et Lili Boulanger and the Helmut Deutsch Lieder Competition.
