We’re excited to launch Truro Comedy Club with a huge opening night of live stand-up at The Burrell Theatre this May. Bringing the very best of the UK comedy circuit to the heart of Cornwall, this brand new night promises big laughs, top-tier comedians, and an unforgettable atmosphere from the moment the lights go down.

Headlining the launch show is the brilliant Marcus Brigstocke, one of the UK’s most celebrated comedians. Known for his sharp wit, intelligent humour, and countless TV appearances, including Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, and Have I Got News For You, Marcus is a true master of stand-up and the perfect way to kick off our very first show.

Hosting the evening is award-winning MC Rich Wilson, recently voted Comics’ Comic 2025 Best MC. A festival favourite and one of the most in-demand comperes in the country, Rich will keep the night flowing with his warm, quick-fire crowd work and infectious energy.

Completing the line-up is a supporting act (to be announced), handpicked from the very best emerging and established talent on the UK comedy circuit, ensuring a packed night of quality stand-up from start to finish.
