Devoran Acoustic Sessions presents Phil Beer’s Tea Treat Concert

Phil Beer is one of the most popular ambassadors for acoustic roots music.  A dazzling instrumentalist, he is perhaps best known as a top flight fiddler.

Phil is one half of the west country’s award-winning acoustic duo, Show of Hands, a member of Feast of Fiddles, founder of the Phil Beer  Trio, producer and musical collaborator with many artists.

He has a professional career of over 36 years, with a wealth of material to draw on for his solo appearances.  These are an eclectic mix of traditional tunes, covers from Springsteen to The Hollies, together with his own compositions and songs from his contemporaries.

Phil’s style is gentle and melodic, interjected with amusing anecdote’s.

• Entrance has a ramp.
• Venue is level without steps.
• Toilets are in the foyer including an accessible toilet.
• There is one dedicated disabled parking bay. Please contact devoranvh@live.co.uk, in advance, if you need to use it.
• Parking is limited at the village hall. If parking in the village, please consider emergency vehicle access and local residents.
• Please car share, cycle (cycle racks provided) or use public transport if possible. The U1 bus service between Truro and Falmouth stops in the bus slip approximately 7 mins walk from the Hall.  Please double park in car park where possible.
• You are welcome to bring your own cushion for extra comfort.
• Please do not leave empty seats in the rows.  Fill a gap and make friends.
• Tea, coffee, saffron buns and hevva cake available.
