Ghosts, Werewolves & Countryfolk – The Songs of Sabine Barring-Gould

Six-time BBC Folk Award nominee Jim Causley and Miranda Sykes of award-winning Show of Hands and Daphne’s Flight, join narrator John Palmer to mark the centenary of Sabine Barring-Gould death.

Interweaving songs, he collected with stories from his best-selling books about Ghosts, Werewolves; Norse Myths and Countryfolk.

Running times: Two 45 minutes halves, plus an interval

Venue Info – Please Read

  • Entrance has a ramp.
  • Venue is level without steps.
  • Toilets are in the foyer including an accessible toilet.
  • There is one dedicated disabled parking bay. Please contact devoranvh@live.co.uk, in advance, if you need to use it.
  • Parking is limited at the village hall. If parking in the village, please consider emergency vehicle access and local residents.
  • Please car share, cycle (cycle racks provided) or use public transport if possible. The U1 bus service between Truro and Falmouth stops in the bus slip approximately 7 mins walk from the Hall. Last bus to Truro 23.22, last bus to Falmouth 23.02 (Monday-Saturday). Please double park in car park where possible.
  • Some windows will be open for ventilation. Please bring an extra layer.
  • Please practice good respiratory and hand hygiene while in the Hall.
  • You are welcome to bring your own cushion for extra comfort.
  • Please do not leave empty seats in the rows.
  • Licenced bar available in the kitchen.
