Opening for the National Garden Scheme.
Positioned on the banks of the Tresillian River is the aptly named Riverside Cottage, which enjoys delightful views from it’s sloping lawns and is a popular stop for walkers. This small, wildlife friendly garden has a pond, wildflower area, vegetable patch, old apple trees and plenty of seats from which to enjoy the views.
Tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes are served. Entrance charge and refreshments are by donation. Sloping garden, unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs. Limited parking.
All money raised supports a range of health and nursing charities such as Macmillan, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK.
