Truro Loops Mission
The ethos of Truro Loops is to use what is already here – cycle paths, walkways, parks and rivers – to improve car-free connections across Truro and rediscover the natural connections to the rivers and countryside that surround Cornwall’s only city.
The vision is that everyone who wishes can access Truro Loops and enjoy free access to the beautiful open, green spaces around us.
You can find four Truro Loop trails across our city:
Newham Loop
The connection from the city’s southern side to Newham and the business district beyond takes the path of the old railway branch line. This is a popular route with runners and cyclists.
Truro City Loop
A circular route taking in Cathedral views, architecture, and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Some of Truro’s best secrets are found when you look up at the buildings around you.
Moresk Forest Loop
Truro’s riverside forest walk is a 30-minute walk which takes you as far as Sunny Corner. The walk continues through the beautiful forest with sweeping views of Truro
Boscawen Park Loop
Boscawen Park is Truro’s play, sports and activity hub. All activities are set in beautifully, maintained Parkland and gardens. The walk takes in the fantastic views of Truro.
