Participate in a River Garden Tour led by our seasoned guides, exploring the breathtaking tea plantations along the River Fal. Delve into the world of tea expertise through a Tregothnan tea masterclass or discover the art of beekeeping with insights from our expert apiarist.

Tours & Experiences

Tea Tasting – This is suitable for those with limited time who just wish to get an idea of Tregothnan Tea. The experience consists of an introductory talk and a tasting.

  • Location: Sessions run every hour. The International Tea Centre, The Reading Room, Coombe, TR3 6AR
  • Times: 10.00 – 16.00 Monday – Friday
  • Duration: 30 Minutes

River Garden Tea Tour – The River Garden Tea Tour is guided by your own Host gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the history of Tea at Tregothnan. Also discover the rich heritage of the estate around Coombe, Kea and Halwyn.

  • Location: Hosted in the International Tea Centre, The Reading Room, Coombe, TR3 6AR.
  • Times: 10:00am, 12:00pm or 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Duration: 3 Hours – Covering 2 miles on foot.
  • Dogs:   Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads to protect our local wildlife.

Tea School Masterclass – This is the ultimate treat for tea fanatics and includes a unique opportunity to see the UK’s first and only tea plantations.

  • Location: Hosted in the International Tea Centre, The Reading Room, Coombe, TR3 6AR
  • Times: 10.00 – 16.00. Once a monthly
  • Duration: 6 Hours

Tea Growers Guide – This masterclass is a unique and fascinating look into the exciting process of tea cultivation, not to be missed!

Beekeeping Course – An ideal way of learning the workings of a bee colony, this beginners’ one-day beekeeping course provides an introduction to the world of honeybees and beekeeping.

  • Location: International Tea Centre, The Reading Room, Coombe, Truro TR3 6AR
  • Times: 10.00 – 16.00 Monthly
