The Kennal River – If you’re after secret Cornwall this is the tour for you.  Hiding away from the main tourist attractions we visit Carnmenellis in search of the source then on to Stithians Reservoir for morning coffee at Wild Vibes Cafe.  We visit Kennal Vale to get lost in the history of the old Gun Powder works and a picnic lunch.  Next a secret island with no #’s and no locations being dropped on social media, wellies or beach shoes are needed if you want to attempt the crossing. Finishing at Devoran for a much needed drink at the Old Quay Inn.

The Carrick Roads – We start at Pendennis Castle walking the Moat Walk around the grounds and a diversion to Pendennis Point to view the iconic Carrick roads, then on to The Pandora Inn for morning coffee and soak up the history of Restronguet Creek.  Across the King Harry Ferry and on to a secret beauty spot. We then make our way to St Mawes Castle and a walk through the historic village of St Mawes, why not find a pub or cafe to sit and unwind or have a picnic by the sea.  We finish our tour at St Anthony Head for some spectacular views.

The River Fowey – Travelling from Codda on Bodmin Moor to Fowey Harbour following the river through Launceston and Lostwithiel stopping at the famous Jamaica Inn for morning coffee and to soak up the myths and legends.  Then on to Golitha Falls for a stunning walk through the ancient woodland and a spot of lunch.  Next, Lostwithiel and the historic Tudor Bridge and lastly onto the beautiful port of Fowey where you can relax on the quay, soak up the history or go for a drink.

New for 2023: Rosamunde Pilcher Location Tours

1989 The Shell Seekers – The Shell Seekers Tour starts in Lelant where Rosamunde Pilcher grew up. We continue on to St Ives to find the very spot Penelope Keeling (Angela Lansbury) leans on the wall and reminisces over her childhood.  Next, Mounts Bay on a mission to find the spot of a love rekindled. A beautiful end to our excursion we visit Lands End, the location where Penelope and her companions stayed.

Rosamunde Pilcher Location Day Tour – We start at Godrevy, the backdrop to Coming Home and more recently Completely Unexpected.  On to Carnewas and the famous Bedruthan Steps where we walk in the footsteps of actors like Patrik Fichte and Vivien Wulf.  We visit Prideaux Place for a guided tour of the house and gardens.  We finish at the beautiful Lanhydrock Estate, with endless views and the most amazing gardens.

Rosamunde Pilcher Location 2 Day Tour – Combine both tours to give yourself an unforgettable experience of Cornwall.

Useful to know:

  • Minimum of two guests and all tours are private to you and your travelling companions.
  • Water is provided and picnic lunches can be provided but are as an extra.
  • Pick up from accommodation or home at approx. 9am - Must be in Cornwall.
  • Tours finish at approx. 4pm with the journey home not included in this timing.
  • The tours cover approx. 15000 steps over multi terrain with some hills and steps.
  • Dogs are allowed in all areas of this tour, Fern the VW has a crate in the back, safe and big enough for two small dogs or one larger dog.
  • Walking boots/wellies/trainers are appropriate for all the tours.
  • All tours start at £250 with a maximum of four people at £400.
  • All tours are available Tuesday to Thursday however if there is a specific date you have in mind please contact to arrange.
