The Guided Tours of Truro Cathedral will begin again from the Spring. With the knowledge of the volunteer guides, these tours are often the best way to appreciate the building and all the treasures that it holds.

There are regular tours that run four days a week, as well as the offer of private booked tours.

Regular Tours

Regular Tours run Monday-Thursdays (from Spring) at 11:00 and cost of £5 per person (under 16s free). Booking is not necessary but please arrive around half an hour before and pay in the shop, where you will be given a lanyard and a receipt. With your tour receipt, you receive a 10% discount in the cathedral’s restaurant on the day of your tour.

There are no Regular tours on bank holidays, and occasionally they cannot take place owing to other events happening in the cathedral. Check the cathedral’s What’s On page to see if there are any events like this and if you’re unsure, feel free to call the cathedral offices on: 01872 276782

Booked Tours

The cathedral offers booked tours for private parties at different times but these must be booked in advance. There are additional packages such as ‘Treasures Tours’ and ‘Stained Glass Tours’, which can be added to your booked tour, with their own additional costs.
