The Valley Cottages new on site restaurant is a family run venture, nestled in the heart of the peaceful, woodland cottage site of Carnon Downs. Ran passionately by head chef Ondine – award winning chef / MasterChef quarter finalist. The restaurant serves delicious, fresh, wood fired pizzas every Monday, using hand stretched dough. Guests can always take away to their cottage too.

The restaurant also opens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, hosting a mixture of tempting, and affordable, theme nights and street food evenings- such as Greek and Moroccan. There are always delicious family favourites made with local produce on offer, and a separate kids menu. The restaurant is joint with The Valley’s outside swimming pool, so in the summer months guests can enjoy a wine or cocktail, dining outdoors by the pool in the Cornish sunshine! The restaurant is also dog friendly.

During peak periods, such as May half term and the Summer holidays, Ondine opens for breakfasts, lunches, doggy ice creams, and cream tea!

From time to time, Ondine hosts cookery classes, quiz nights, and fun arty evenings, as well as children’s parties. Ondine is also hosting her first wedding this year.
