A Quiet Moment in the Bandstand
Tucked away in the city centre, Victoria Gardens is the perfect place to explore nature and tune in with the natural world.
This Easter, take part in Truro City Council’s free Easter Trail at Victoria Gardens – perfect for keeping the little ones entertained! The self-led trail will run daily throughout the Easter holiday, from Saturday 5th – Monday 21st April 2025. Follow clues to find hidden Easter bunnies in the gardens. Every Saturday during the trail, there will be an Easter themed show performed by children’s entertainer, Jules the Ventriloquist, joined also by a special new character.
Reopening on the 5th April to mark the beginning of the Easter holidays, indulge in a delicious refreshment or tasty treat from Pollen to accompany your visit. Situated right in the heart of Victoria Gardens, this spot is the perfect place to grab a coffee, tuck into a sweet treat or cool down with an ice cream on a sunny day.
A Hidden Haven for Wildlife
The lesser known site known as Daubuz Moor can be found just minutes away from the city centre, offering a peaceful haven for wildlife and biodiversity.
This magnificent land was given to the citizens of Truro in 1977 by the Reverend CRS Enys of the Enys Estate, to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and the Centenary of the City of Truro. The six hectares of former water meadows are managed by Truro City Council to maintain a diversity of habitats including a healthy stream, flower-rich wetlands, wildflower meadows and Cornish hedges.
Daubuz Moor makes the perfect destination for dogs, children and adults alike for gentle exercise and wildlife spotting.
Sit Back and Relax…

Boost your mood by taking a moment to visit one of our favourite tranquil spots in Truro and sit back to take in the beautiful views of the city.
Boscawen Park is situated just along the Truro River, a short walk from the city centre. During the spring and summer months, the park grounds are carefully decorated with vibrant floral displays – ideal for brightening up your day.
Boasting a range of activities, Boscawen Park features a large duck pond, a natural children’s play area, sports facilities including tennis courts available to hire, a lovely spot for coffee – Café in the Park, and so much more!
Beautiful Blooms
Planted and meticulously maintained by Truro City Council’s Parks Department, you can find a beautiful array of spring and summertime blooms across Our Great Little City.
Floral planting displays and hanging baskets adorn all approaches into Truro and around the city centre, celebrating the warmer days and sunny weather. These displays bring a feel good factor to the city for people who live, work and visit.
