Things to do Locally

Truro has everything you need right on your doorstep

The city centre is home to many local amenities, including the post office, the library, several banks, pharmacies, and much more. Not only this, but the city has a vast range of shops, with everything from pet supplies, clothing, and home and hardware, to food and drink, children’s items, and speciality stores.

We are also lucky to have several cafes, restaurants and takeaways dotted throughout Truro. Whether it’s a quick cup of coffee on the school run, or an evening out, you will be spoilt for choice.

Our city is also home to an abundance of outdoor space for the whole family to enjoy. Our formal parks and gardens are a great place to relax, your four legged friends can enjoy our playing fields and woodland areas, and our play equipment is perfect for children to burn some energy.

Your Options:

Eating Out

Truro is home to an eclectic mix of independent and high street retailers that will tick all your boxes. You’ll even find all of your essentials too.

Whilst we may be a small city, we boast an abundance of outdoor space. Did you know that we have over 80 acres of land?

There is something for all ages in Truro. The tots can take part in fun activities at Little Roos Play Cafe, whilst the older kids game it out at Geek Retreat or Player Ready
