St Piran's Day 

Truro St Piran's Day is going virtual this year and have been working closely with some amazing organisations, Visit Truro, Salt Projects Ltd, Tyller A Nerth, Cornwall Channel, Truro Voice and the City of Truro Male Voice Choir.

A fantastic virtual offer with online activities to commemorate St Piran's Day in Truro this year.

 

Friday 5th February 2021

  • 12.00pm - 1pm   Gool Peran Lowen! For St Piran's Day a pre-recorded video of Dean Roger giving a short sermon with singing by Truro Cathedral Choir including Pader an Arleth will be aired on this page and the cathedral YouTube channel on the day.
  • 12.30pm    St Piran's Day Party - Let's have a party at home this year! Families and children get your dancing shoes on, some party treats laid out and join Lauren for a lunch time 'tea party'.   • 1.00pm    Tune in to the Truro St Pirans Day Facebook page to watch the St Piran's Day Celebratory Film 
  • 6.00pm    Oggy Oggy Oggy Shout outstide your house  - Tune in for a Facebook Live  
  • 9.00pm     City of Truro Male Voice Choir Trelawny Shout

St Piran's Day Activity Packs - download yours here. Create an animal mask for the virtual tea party, colour in a picture to display in your window or learn some Cornish phrases and interesting facts. They can also be collected from Truro Community Library.
