''Plans are afoot at Trelawny Shout HQ to create a ‘digital choir’ video of hundreds of people from all walks of Cornish life singing the unofficial Cornish anthem together.

We’re already talking to choirs who, refusing to let a global pandemic stand in the way of a good song, have already gained valuable experience of singing by Zoom - Cornwall Youth Choir, Kernow Bedroom Choir, Lost in Song and Truro Male Voice Choir to name a few. And as always, BBC Radio Cornwall and Spotlight are behind us all the way.

Once we have enough material, our talented sound and video editors will stitch together these voices into a virtual throng.

This wonderfully stirring video will be shared up and down through social media and across our radio and TV airwaves.

So tune in on March 5h (the world might change around us but happily, the date of St Piran’s never does!) - we want YOU to join in! Oh, and we want you to film yourselves doing this, and upload it to our Facebook page please.

We’re also exploring the idea of projecting the finished video onto screens in chosen outside spaces, perhaps in the summer months, to show visitors what Cornwall got up to in the winter.

We can do this, Shouters, we can do this! ''
