Fun will be the theme for Truro city centre on Saturday 13 April as many businesses and organisations make children and young people their focus with free activities, have-a-go sessions and great offers for ‘Children’s Day’.Lemon Quay will be a hive of activity with kids rides, street performers, have-a-go sessions in dance and yoga, stalls and other entertainment including mountain bike athlete Andrei Burton. There will also be some street performers popping-up around Truro on the day.
There will be enough activity within the shops to keep little (and big) ones entertained all day with free craft corners, Easter egg hunts, face painters and giveaways. There will also be some meal deals available for the kids.
The Royal Cornwall Museum are offering free family entry for the day with lots of free activities in the museum.
Children’s Day will have activities for all ages. Many activities are free although there will be a cost for some activities such as kids rides.
