Event information:

For 200 years, the RNLI has been saving lives at sea. From wooden lifeboats with oars and sails to today’s motor-powered all-weather lifeboats, crews across the country have been making our waters a safer place.

At Royal Cornwall Museum, we’re teaming up with the RNLI to celebrate their 200th birthday. With dress up, games, and a glimpse into the lives of the crew and roles behind the rescues, our summer exhibition has something for everyone.

The museum are also running children’s activities throughout the summer holidays and more information can be found on our what’s on pages or by clicking here. Don’t forget, kids go free! Entry and activities are free for kids (under 18s), and adult entry is £7.50 for an annual pass.

Open:  Tuesday – Saturday during term time and open Mondays during Cornish School Holidays
