Join Kira and Barry the Bookworm on their mission to save the library in Coppice Theatre’s heartwarming theatre show aimed at children 4+

Kira loves reading. Visiting the library is her favourite thing to do. But why are words disappearing from the books and where have all these book monsters come from?! Could there be a Book Witch hiding somewhere? Graham Grey plans to knock down the library to make way for a car park! Join Kira and Barry the Bookworm on this heartwarming adventure to save the day.

An open-hearted show aimed at children ages 4+ exploring the importance of libraries and sharing stories. Featuring live music, puppetry and storytelling. Accessibility it at the heart of this show with key-word signing and integrated captions.

‘How to Catch a Book Witch’ has just come back from a successful Edinburgh Fringe tour and won the Farnham Maltings Emerging Artist/ Company Award at Brighton Fringe 2024.

Coppice Theatre is a Cornish based theatre company creating engaging, entertaining and accessible productions that showcase talent, new writing, design and new digital media.

Show timings:

Morning show: 10:30 am

Afternoon show: 2:30 pm

Running time is 45 minutes.

£5 per ticket – adults and children.
