Devoran Acoustic Sessions presents Cole Stacey

TICKETS ON SALE 9AM 24TH OCTOBER 2024

Cole Stacey is a songwriter, singer, lyricist, and musician who has spent the last 10 years roaming the diverse echelons of contemporary folk, 80s pop, spoken word, and new romantic electronics.  From The Royal Albert Hall to Westfalenhalle Arena, The London Palladium to live sessions on BBC Radio 2.

As one half of alt-folk duo India Electric Company alongside Joseph O’Keefe, Cole has recently been found on prime-time live sessions for BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, at Glastonbury Festival and they’ve enjoyed BBC Introducing’s backing with KLOF declaring them “one of the truly pioneering acts in folk music”.  For 10 years Cole has also been a member of legendary synth pop pioneer Midge Ure’s live bands, playing mandolin, bass and keys, playing sell out tours to tens of thousands of people in venues across the UK and Europe to Australia and New Zealand.

February 2025 sees Cole release his debut solo album ‘Postcards From Lost Places’.  Journeying from a regenerated Clay Factory in the heart of Devon via a prehistoric settlement on Dartmoor and a Victorian mining village, by means of timeless melodies and tunes.

“Cole’s soaring vocals were a highlight of an electrifying performance, nothing short of mesmerizing” – Scottish Music Network
