Darkness to Light: music by Fauré and Rutter

Truro Choral Society, with Truro Philharmonia, will perform some great contemplative and moving music on Saturday 13th June.

Fauré’s Requiem is one of the most performed, most loved, pieces of choral music. Full of memorable melodies and harmonies it is a joy to sing and to hear. The more modern piece by John Rutter also contains tremendous tunes and provides a contrast to Fauré. Two fine vocal soloists, Taylor London (soprano) and Charlie Murray (bass) will join us.
