New for Truro Food Festival 2026, join New Zealand-born Māori chef Matthew Burgess – aka matblak – as he teams up with Cornwall’s Woodfired Canteen for a very special Chef’s Table Feast inside the Chef’s Tipi on Lemon Quay.
For one night only, just 30 guests will gather around shared tables for a three-course feast inspired by Māori food culture, cooking over fire and the stories and traditions that bring people together around the table.
matblak’s cooking is all about food, fire, culture and storytelling. For this intimate Saturday night feast he’ll collaborate with the brilliant Woodfired Canteen team, bringing together incredible produce, live-fire cooking and a relaxed evening of food, conversation and sharing.
Your evening includes a welcome drink on arrival followed by a three-course feast, with the festival bar open throughout the evening.
Come as a couple, gather some friends, or come solo and join us around the table.
