Get into the festive spirit and join us online for Truro’s first Virtual Christmas Lights Switch-on, streamed on Wednesday 18th November. The Virtual Switch-on will also feature pre-recorded contributions from local dance companies and footage of past activities held in Truro.
On Sunday 22nd November the Alverton will be offering an early preview of their famous Alverton festive afternoon tea with a special twist. In the beautiful setting of The Great Hall, pianist Roger Miners will be setting the mood with all our favourite carols and festive renditions.
This year Truro Farmers Market & Made in Cornwall have teamed up to bring you a month long open air market on Lemon Quay. Running from Monday 23rd November 2020 right up until Christmas Eve. With over 50 stalls this market promises to showcase the best of Cornwall .
Wednesday 25th November 2020 Enjoy late night shopping in our great little city on Wednesdays from 25th November. The City Centre Christmas Lights will be illuminating Truro and the main shopping streets will be closed to traffic until 9pm to give you space to shop, eat and drink.
