We have lots of ideas for things to do with children in our area if the weather is unsettled.  Here's some of them:

Truro Cathedral - High Cross - Open daily & free admission. 

Free trails to complete around the cathedral daily.

Royal Cornwall Museum - River Street - Open Tuesday - Sunday, admission under 16's Free / Adults £5.50

Free Family Trail to complete around the museum.

Messy Mondays -Get creative with drop in art & craft sessions.

Shelterbox - Charles Street - Open Mon - Sat 10am -4pm. Entry by donation 

Interactive displays featuring everything from a giant globe & live weather patterns to shelter kits, emergency tents & rickshaw rides.

Truro Bowl - 1-2 Oak Way, 01872 222333

Open every day from 11am to 11pm, seven days a week, it's a great place to unwind and perfect for the when the weather lets you down. It also includes a gaming arcade and has a fully licensed bar and cafe serving delicious food for all  ages. We would recommend you book in advance for this. 

Truro Plaza Cinema - Lemon Street, 01872 272894

Truro's cinema is independently owned by WTW Cinemas but be warned it does get busy when the weather is bad, online booking available for daily programme click on the link www.wtwcinemas.co.uk
