Welcome to a summer of fun at Our Great Little Kids Club.

This August, enjoy free activities in Victoria Gardens' Bandstand - brought to you by Truro City Council.

Every weekday from Monday 1st August - Wednesday 31st August*, you can take part in free, one hour activity sessions in Victoria Gardens between 14.00 and 15.00 - brought to you by Truro City Council. (*Excluding Monday 29th August)

The activities will run as follows:

  • Mondays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd August - Jules the Ventriloquist - Meet cheeky monkey, Oswald the chicken, and other ventriloquist friends and learn how to make your own puppet at home.
  • Tuesdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd August - Horticulture Team - Read the Very Hungry Caterpillar and learn more about butterflies with arts and craft activities.
  • Wednesdays 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th August - Storytelling - Join the team from Truro Community Library for storytime and craft activities. 
  • Thursdays 11th, 18th, 25th August - Truro's Countryside Rangers - Explore the gardens and learn more about wildlife with a treasure hunt.
  • Fridays 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th August- Guerrilla Museum - Discover treasures from Royal Cornwall Museum's pop-up museum.

The events will run on a first-come first-served basis and no prior booking is required.

For more fun, collect your free activity pack from either Truro Community Library or the Truro Visitor Information Centre - available from Monday 25th July. The pack includes a word search, spot the difference, colouring in, and Denzel's Hedgehog Trail
