The Truro area has some of the best cycling routes in Cornwall and some can be started in the city itself.

National Cycle route 3 waymarker

Truro is part of the Cornish Way on National Cycle Route 3. This connects Bude to Land's End via St Austell, taking in the clay country. You can join this from the Newham area of the city, and from here you can go towards the beautiful Roseland Peninsula via the King Harry Ferry or towards the Mining trails, which you can access from Bissoe Cycle Hire, where there is a cafe, bike hire and repair. There are 30 miles of mining trails free to use, most of the trails are off road and you can pick up a copy in our shop.

National cycle route 32 can be reached from route 3 and connects Truro with the North Coast and Bodmin via Newquay, including the Camel Trail.

We have a range of free and to buy cycling maps and information leaflets available in our shop.
