The Guild of Ten is a vibrant, independent gallery selling fine contemporary craft from leading Cornwall based designer makers.
A showcase for some of the finest contemporary craftwork in Cornwall. Established in 1979 The Guild of Ten offers a wide selection of textiles, jewellery, ceramics, wood, metalwork, leather and women’s and children’s clothing. All work is hand crafted by designer makers living and working in Cornwall.
Situated just behind Truro Cathedral, the Guild of Ten has an ever changing display of the highest quality crafts. Made up of co-operative members the Guild is staffed by the makers themselves. Visitors are welcome to ask questions and learn more about the maker’s craft.
The Guild of Ten Designers are often able to offer bespoke commissions.
The Guild of Ten offers an annual award for excellence & innovation in contemporary craft. Winners are given display space in the gallery where we often feature 'guest' makers, especially original and emerging talents.
For four decades now The Guild of Ten has helped to support scores of Cornwall’s Designer Makers. It has a very well informed and loyal worldwide customer base, many of whom make a point of visiting every year when they are in Cornwall.
