An independent wine shop and bar tucked away just behind Truro Cathedral. Old Chapel Cellars specialises in sustainably made high quality wines which are, most importantly, absolutely delicious! We were delighted to be named the country’s top independent wine merchant in 2026.

A truly laid back atmosphere for wine lovers and friends to get together and catch up over an exciting recommendation from our knowledgeable staff or a comforting, trusty old favourite. Drop in for a glass, a bottle or one of our new wine flights, and bring along your four-legged friends!

We also offer local craft beers, a classic G&T, and a range of non-alcoholic options- wines, beers and soft drinks. Relax outside in summer on our lovely patio, or cosy up around a barrel(or in the coveted comfy armchairs) during the cooler winter months.

Customers are more than welcome to bring in a takeaway to have with their wine – we highly recommend a Basso’s pizza with your bottle!
