Following on from the Governement Roadmap annoucement, please see the below information regarding re opening.

All these dates are still to be confirmed by Government.  

We will be adding further information regarding things to do and business information  that are reopening  shortly. 

Step 1  Monday 29th March - No earlier than 

  • People will be able to meet outside including in private gardens, subject to the rule of six, or provided no more than two households are meeting.
  • People will no longer be legally required to stay at home but should work from home if they can and try not to travel.
  • Outdoor sports  -facilities such as tennis or basketball courts and open air swimming pools can reopen and formally organised sports can restart. Boscawen Park  Tennis Courts will re open . 

Step 2 Monday 12th April - No Earlier than 

  • Self-catering will open for individuals or household groups only.
  • Non-essential retail will open.
  • Pubs and restaurants will begin to open for outdoors service, without curfew, and no requirement for people to order a substantial meal.
  • Zoos, theme parks, and drive-in cinemas will open. 

Step 3 Monday 17th May - No Earlier than 

  • Pubs and restaurants will open for indoor service
  • Hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs will open
  • Pubs and restaurants will open for indoor service
  • Cinemas and theatres will open
  • Most restrictions outdoors will be lifted, subject to a limit of 30 people
  • International travel will not resume before 17 May

Step 4 Monday 21st June - No Earlier than

  • All limits on social contacts will be lifted
  • Large events and performances and weddings will be able to go ahead
  • Nightclubs will open

Truro City Council Services

  • Allotments Open
  • Cafe in Boscawen park - Open for takeaway
  • Cemetary - Open  but will close for funerals. These details will be updated on the Truro city council website page and Facebook page @trurocitycouncil. 
  • Library - Open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday offering a click and collect service, access to four PCs and printing and scanning . Click & Collect' service. Order your books online at www.cornwall.gov.uk/library call 0300 1234 111
  • Outdoor gym equipment - 
  • Parks & Gardens including play area / equipement - Open
  • Public conveniences – Open - The Leat's, Old Bridge Street Car Park, Lower Lemon Street, Victoria Gardens, Hendra Play Park and Boscawen Park open: All others closed
  • Skate Park - Open 
  • Tennis Courts at Boscawen Park - Open from 29th March 
  • Visit Truro Shop - Re open 12th April -  The service is available via social channels @visittruro or email tic@truro.gov.uk
